Learning Objectives | 1. NATO Exercise Planning Process Framework: Given references, the student will be able to explain the framework and considerations of the NATO Exercise Planning Process (EPP) including the roles and responsibilities for Commanders, Agencies, Centres and other authorities in the EPP. 2. NATO EDUCATION TRAINING EXERCISE AND EVALUATION (EETE) SYSTEM: Given references, the student will be able to explain the NATO Education, Training, Exercise and Evaluation (EETE) system and training spectrum including the Military Training and Exercise Programme (MTEP) Development Process along with the electronic-MTEP (e-MTEP). 3. Stages of NATO Exercise Process: Given references, the student will be able to explain the stages of the NATO Exercise Process and the various considerations required in support of NATO exercises and bi-lateral and live exercises. 4. SUPPORT AVAILABLE TO NATO EXERCISES: Given references, the student will be able to explain HQ SACT’s support to joint exercises, list JWC’s and JFTC’s capabilities and limitations, and describe EXCON structures in support of exercises and MEL/MIL development. 5. THE NATO EXERCISE PLANNING PROCESS (PRACTICAL EXERCISE): Given a scenario the student will apply the EPP to develop deliverables and brief on them. |
