Learning Objectives1. CIMIC in NATO: Explain the role of CMI and CIMIC within NATO and its contribution to a comprehensive approach. 2. CIMIC Roles and Responsibilities: Explain the contribution of CMI/CIMIC in staff procedures and their relation to other relevant staff functions. 3. Civilian Stakeholders: Explain the mandates, roles, and policies of key civilian stakeholders in the civil military interaction/arena (e.g. ICRC, UNOCHA, IOM, NGOs).
