Course Description | To provide NATO Targeteers the necessary knowledge and skill to develop and database any target type in the JTS database according to NATO standards, as informed by US CJCSI 3370.01, Target Development Standards, Allied Joint Publication (AJP) 3.9, ACO Directive (AD) 80-70, and ACO Manual (AM) 80-70. |

Learning Objectives | 1. Target Development: Given references, students will define target development in accordance with CJCSI 3370.01, AJP 3.9, and AD 80-70. 2. Developing NATO Target Types: Given references, students will describe specific target development characteristics associated with NATO Target Types in accordance with CJCSI 3370.01, AJP 3.9, and AD 80-70. 3. Target Development Research & Resources: Given examples, students will describe the available references and resources for target intelligence in NATO in accordance with CJCSI 3370.01, AJP 3.9, and AD 80-70. 4. IDB Search and Retrieval & Production: Given references and 5 notional targets, students will develop and enter targets into the database (JTS) according to the standards discussed in accordance with CJCSI 3370.01, AJP 3.9, and AD 80-70. 5. Develop and Database Targets: Given a scenario, students will prepare electronic target folders for 5 notional targets, in accordance with CJCSI 3370.01, AJP 3.9, and AD 80-70. |
