Learning Objectives | 1. WMD/CBRN Threats: Given references, the student will describe the key strategic and potential WMD/CBRN threats to NATO and the Alliance will face in the future. 2. NATO’S COMPREHENSIVE WMD/CBRN POLICY: Given references, the student will explain principles of NATO’s current strategic-level WMD Non-Proliferation and CBRN Defence guidlines and directives. 3. NATO CBRN DEFENCE CONCEPTS & DOCTRINE: Given references, the student will explain NATO CBRN doctrine and defence initiatives in accordance with NATO doctrine and policy. 4. NATO’S CBRN DEFENCE ORGANISATION: Given references, the student will explain NATO’s CBRN staff structure and the respective responsibilities of entities dealing with WMD/CBRN threats and hazards. 5. NATO CBRN DEFENCE PLANNING AND CAPABILITY SHORTFALLS: Given references, the student will explain NATO’s CBRN Defence Planning Process (NDPP), identify CBRN defence requirements, capability gaps, shortfalls and respective mitigation measures. |
