Learning Objectives | 1. Understand NATO Alternative Analysis Capability and Theory.: Given references, students will be able to explain the overall NATO Alternative Analysis (AltA) capability and critical thinking theories related to AltA application in accordance with the NATO Alternative Analysis Handbook. 2. Explain Roles and Interactions of ALTA Facilitators.: Given references, students will be able to describe the roles and interactions of AltA Facilitators, AltA focal points, problem owners, and the chain of command in accordance with the NATO Alternative Analysis Handbook. 3. Apply ALTA Problem-Solving Techniques.: Given scenarios, students will apply AltA techniques in support of problem-solving and decision-making across all NATO staff functions in accordance with the NATO Alternative Analysis Handbook. 4. Comprehend the Four Phases of ALTA Process: Given scenarios, students will apply the four phases of the AltA process in accordance with the NATO Alternative Analysis Handbook. 5. Demonstrate ALTA Facilitation: Given a scenario and as part of a group, students will demonstrate AltA facilitation skills in accordance with the NATO Alternative Analysis Handbook. 6. Understand ALTA Collaboration Platform: Given access to TRANSNET portal, students will be able to explain and use the AltA Collaboration Platform. 7. Explain Use of ALTA Other Organizations: Given references, students will be able to explain how other organisations apply AltA or equivalent techniques. |
